Barb Card joined Phase Line Strategies in 2007. Card has earned a reputation as one of the nation's most successful fundraisers for both political and non-profit entities. She also specializes in event planning and sponsorship marketing.
Through out her career, Card has raised millions of dollars for capital development campaigns, non-profits and for political issue and candidate campaigns nationwide. She has had the privilege of organizing the Colorado fundraising efforts for Presidents Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and George H. W. Bush and United States Senators Hank Brown and Wayne Allard as well as many other congressional candidates which are too numerous to mention.
Card served as Finance Chairman for Governor Bill Owens' 1998 and 2002 gubernatorial campaigns. She also chaired the Inaugural celebrations after both elections. In 1999, there were over eight Inaugural events across Colorado with over 10,000 attendees.
Prior to joining Phase Line, Card served as senior advisor to Governor Owens and as the Director of Boards and Commissions for the State of Colorado. Within this capacity, she was responsible for managing the selection process of over 5,500 appointments to more than 300 Boards and Commissions for the Governor.
Recently, Barb has been active in the Higher Education arena, working on events for both Colorado State University and Metro State College of Denver.
Card is active in local charity organizations across Colorado. Currently, she serves as a trustee on the boards of the Denver Zoo Foundation and STEP 13. Card also has volunteered her services to various organizations over the years including the Denver Art Museum, the Museum of Nature and Science, Sewall Child Development Center and the Junior League of Denver.
