Katie Behnke joined Phase Line Strategies in 2003 and offers clients expertise in campaign finance regulation, fundraising and public relations. Behnke has managed financial compliance issues and Federal Election Commission reporting for a number of state and federal clients including U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell and Pete Coors for Senate. Currently, Behnke manages the fundraising activities for John Suthers for Attorney General Committee, Friends of Mark Hillman and Ed Tauer for Mayor. She is also a recent graduate of the Republican National Committee’s Campaign Finance College. With a growing expertise in public relations, Behnke also provides client support for media affairs, press relations and community outreach. Prior to joining Phase Line Strategies, Behnke worked as a press assistant for Colorado Governor Bill Owens. Following her tenure in the governor's office, Behnke joined Governor Owens' successful re-election campaign as a Press Assistant. She has assisted a broad range of both political and corporate clients with public affairs and communications support including Pete Coors for Senate, U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer, Wal-Mart, among others. A native Coloradan, Behnke is a graduate from the University of Colorado where she studied Communication and Political Science. |
